These are the days in my life not to be forgotten….

The two days i spent in Makkah and Madina are never to be forgotten. I was in Saudi Arabia for almost 8 months now but unfortunately visited these places after such a long time due to reasons which were silly. They are i never go alone anywhere and the colleagues n frnds of mine here had visited these places "n" number of times and were busy in their own life.

Finally one new guy joined our company and there was a chance for me 2 visit these places with him. We booked the tickets on Tuesday. Totally four guys planned to go. Everything was packed and ready.

Wednesday Evening

My heart was filled with joy just thinking of the sight of Kaaba n my dream which will come true very soon. We all boarded the bus n the environment around was saintly. But i was still crackin jokes with my PJ's and we all were enjoying. At the same time i was learning the rules, procedures and supplications that are essential for performing Umrah.. The whole night we travelled, there were few stoppages in btw for performing Salah n also to relieve oneself:)

Thursday

Finally morning we reached Meeqath, Took bath n wore Ahram( Two piece cotton cloth) and then finally we'll reach a place called Makkah. All this time I've been facing the Kaaba from thousands of miles away i've seen it on pictures or TV but it is nothing compared to when you see it in reality.

I was in peace with myself.I had met my final destination. When i 1st set my eyes on the Kaaba that is when it really hit me, I stood still and stared for almost 15min and was overhelmed with joy and tears in my eyes and then i made my supplications. The 1st time you see tha Kaaba watever dua u make it comes true.

The sight of thousands of people from different races n colors prostrate all at once to the same God and this is d beauty of Islam.

There were times wer i would have a perfect view of Kaaba. I would ask myself am i really here or i'm in a dream world, its hard to believe because i've been waiting 4 dis moment all my life and now actually i'm in front of Kaaba, Surely dis is not a dream but its a dream come true. One more thing which is most important is ZamZam water, It is fresh and sparking water that we can enjoy in hot Arabia. Its taste is unique. So finally the time has come to move from dis place to one more holy place Madina, the whole night we travelled and reached the place early morning.

Friday

Early morning we reached the 2nd holiest place in Islam.The hotel wer we stayed had a clear view of Masjid E Nabwi. The heart was filled with joy and i was at home here, we slept for abt two hours and then visited Roza Mubarak of Prophet Muhammad(Peace be upon him).How wonderful it is 2 walk on the same land where our beloved Prophet(PBUH) walked on. Its a great privilege n honor to visit the most perfect man on this earth who is a mercy to this mankind. We prayed friday prayers in Masjid E Nabwi, how lucky we are

Then finally the time has arrived(Saddest moment) when we left madina, after having visited two of the holiest places on earth Umrah was as eye opener to us, it made us realise the purpose of life.

Finally I thank Allah for giving me a chance to visit the holiest places on earth.
